This image was the one i chose and edited for my front cover. Once i placed my created title on it the obstruction over her face wasnt very professional. Therefore on photo shop i recreated her head and placed it over her existing one to hide the line.
I achieved this by using the 'Lasso' to cut around her face and produce a replica of it once the text was removed from it.
I then placed the replica head over her head when the title was in place. Due to a white line surrounding certain aspects of her face once i had cut around it, it was clear that it wasnt meant to be there.
Therefore i used the cloning tool to put her skin where the white line is.
As it was my first time using these tools i feel the result is quite successful however on comparrison it is clear there is a problem with her chin area, it isnt as professional as i would have hoped, however i can improve now i know how to do it.
Despite the clear alteration made i feel it looks more professional now that the title doesnt obstruct her face.
Excellent. For the music magazine you need to have more of this type of proof.
