Annotated images focused on my topic

Annotating a variety of images will ensure I have the skills and ideas I need to make my own image a success.

Positives of the image:
- The school uniform is key to the image, it represents the school which is crucial for a school magazine.
- The movement they are doing signifies success; this highlights the aim of the magazine which I feel is important for the front page image to do.
- By holding up their results it gives the image a purpose and provides something to write about in the magazine it self.
- Their colours stand out against the green background.
- The image isn't blurred or distorted which is impressive because they are jumping in the air.
- The camera position is quite low so we can see them jumping above the ground, this is a good use of camera angling which I would aim to include in my own image.

Negatives of the image:
- The background could be improved to incorporate the images theme; could be done in front of a school building.
- The background should have no obstructions – in this case a car and a person walking down the street.
- The uniform colours are dull, which means I would have to take that into consideration and ensure the background doesn’t over power the main focus.
- I would prefer if it was focused on school more, the background could help with that in my own image .
